Benadryl Allergy Relief Capsules are a form of treatment that is to be used in order to provide relief for allergies, including hay fever. The active ingredient in the capsules is acrivastine, which is an antihistamine. Antihistamines work by suppressing histamine, a chemical released by the body when coming into contact with an allergic substance. These capsules can sooth a runny nose, sneezing, itchy eyes, hives and skin rashes.
As with all medicines, if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, consult your doctor before taking this product.
